Ford just keeps on making crossovers safer with revolutionary technology. Take a look at this article.

“Leading the safety technology for the popular midsize crossover is Ford Motor Company’s exclusive AdvanceTrac with RSC. This electronic stability control system helps maintain a driver’s intended path by measuring side-to-side yaw through steering angle, lateral acceleration and yaw rate sensors and automatically making braking and throttle adjustments. When wheel slip is sensed, AdvanceTrac reduces engine torque and applies selected brakes. RSC is an additional vehicle control software module that monitors and helps control vehicle roll rate.”

Wanna know what I drive? A 2010 Ford Expedition of course. The best SUV I have ever owned. Watch!

http://www.futurefordofsacramento.com 866-699-7684 The 2010 Ford Expedition is largely unchanged. This is Ford’s largest SUV, and it is available as a regular-length wagon and as the Expedition EL, which is 12 inches longer in wheelbase and about 15 inches longer overall. Both versions seat up to 8. The sole powertrain for all models is a 310-horsepower 5.4-liter V8 engine paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Expedition can run on E85 ethanol-blended fuel.

I mixed in a bit of a funky groove into this short video on the 2010 Ford Explorer in Sacramento. Enjoy!

http://www.futurefordofsacramento.com 866-699-7684 The Ford Explorer can seat up to seven with its third row (optional on base models and standard on Eddie Bauer and XLT Sport models). Reviewers find the seats spacious, especially in the third row — a rarity for midsize SUVs.

The Ford Focus drivers at the Hokkaido races won two and are going strong! Great job guys!

“After winning the last two versions of Rally Japan in 2007 and 2008, BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team returns to the Pacific Ocean island of Hokkaido next week intent on sealing a third consecutive win there.  Rally Japan (9 – 12 September) takes the squad back to its preferred gravel roads, the team having won two of the last three loose-surface rallies with its Ford Focus RS World Rally Car.”

It never ends to amaze me what those mad scientist do at Ford. This time they are keeping it cool.

“Thermal management of lithium-ion battery systems is critical to the success of all-electric vehicles because extreme temperatures can affect performance, reliability, safety and durability. Ford has chosen an advanced active liquid-cooling and heating system to regulate the temperature of its lithium-ion battery packs, which are designed to operate under a range of ambient conditions.

Cops get more choices with the Ford Police Interceptor! Simply the best cop car EVER! Have you driven one? HOT!

“Like the sedan, the utility version of the Police Interceptor puts a priority on safety. Continuing Ford’s safety leadership includes engineering both Police Interceptors to pass 75-mph rear-end crash testing. Currently, the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor is the only pursuit sedan to meet this test. The Police Interceptor utility vehicle features Ford’s exclusive Safety Canopy® side-curtain airbag rollover protection system that helps protect passengers in both rollover and side-impact crashes. The multiple side-curtain airbags use Ford’s unique roll-fold technology to help position them between the occupant and the side window.”

Have you seen the COOLEST truck ever? It is the Ford Harley Davidson F-150. This is HOG HEAVEN!

“It’s a bold appearance that’s made even bolder by the truck’s integrated deployable running boards, along with its massive 22-inch Euroflange wheels. Up front, there’s also a model-specific fascia sporting a big billet-style satin-chrome grille with satin-chrome Harley-Davidson badging, while a complementary upscale interior, with Tuxedo Black trim panels and satin-finish chrome accents, helps put the finishing touches on this F-150’s custom-look appearance.”
